International Training Course in Creative Youth Work
30 youth work trainers from six countries (Belgium, Czech Republic, Turkey, Portugal, Denmark and France) will participate in this training course, each experienced in creative non-formal youth work methodologies. This project aims to bring together organisations with a strong experience in creative youth work activities and creative non-formal methodologies. A central project aim is to develop a shared sense of importance of (creative) youth work and link it to different global issues: diversity, climate change, democracy… and how creative youth work can play a role in giving children and youngsters an outlet of expression. The organizations will exchange (theoretical) frameworks on creative youth work and creative youth work methods.
Together we will explore meanings, roles and complementarities of different creative youth work approaches and methods. Inspiration from different approaches stimulates reflection about own youth work practices.
